Individual housing contracts are a kind of by-the-bedroom lease that helps provide residents with financial security. With this type of lease, residents are only financially responsible for their bedroom and shared spaces. Individual housing contracts enable you to live with roommates without worrying about whether or not they can pay their portion.

We urge you to get renters insurance to cover any losses or injuries caused by theft, fire, water damage, pipe leaks, and the like. Additionally, every resident is required to purchase personal liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000.00. Proof of liability insurance is required to be provided to the Landlord prior to move-in day.

You are not paying rent for each month you live at Grandmarc at The Corner. Instead, you are making 12 equal payments on your contract total throughout the length of your lease. The housing contract will not be for an entire calendar year. You will move in early August and move out at the end of July. This allows time for you to move out, for us to fix the apartment as needed, and to move someone else in for the following year.

Monthly installments are due on the 1st of every month with a grace period until the 2nd day of the month. Payments are considered late on the 4th of each month. Please note that late fees will start to accrue on the 4th day.

We include water, sewer, pest control, and internet with your monthly installment payments.

No. If you are over 18, we do NOT need your parent or guardian present in order for you to sign your housing contract.

Yes! Each bedroom is fully furnished with a full XL bed, desk, desk chair, and two 2-drawer dressers. The living area comes with a sofa chair or loveseat, cocktail table, entertainment center, and bar stool. Furniture packages vary based on floor plan type.

Yes. Grandmarc at The Corner is less than half a mile from the University of Virginia grounds. From our UVA off-grounds housing, residents can make it to class and UVA events in minutes, whether they prefer to walk, bike, drive, or ride the bus!

Yes. We provide covered parking and bike storage, so residents can choose the transportation method that works best for them.

No problem! We offer a roommate matching program. You can fill out a roommate matching profile form along with your application, and management will match you with the best possible option(s).

Yes. We frequently host events in our TV lounge, clubhouse, and by our pool. This makes it easier for our residents to settle in, build a community, and feel at home in our apartments near the University of Virginia.
